Many sole proprietors, partnerships, close corporations and companies trade with a name other than their actual registered name. Our corporation, for example, Kembul CC, trades as "Accountkeeper".
  You should not simply begin using a trade name. It is important to check and to be relatively sure that the name is available for your use.
